SPE was established in 2001 to provide petroleum engineering services to the oil and gas industry. Our expertise is focused on the formation evaluation, completion, production, and reservoir engineering aspects of conventional and unconventional reservoirs. In the past several years there has been considerable emphasis on tight gas and coal-bed methane in the Rockies, and more recently shale gas throughout the United States. Clients have included consulting firms, large corporations, independents, A&D companies, financial institutions, and estates.

SPE offers a wide range of services. Independent reserve audits, reservoir studies and recompletion recommendations are common client needs. However, this is only a partial listing (see “Services”). I believe the unique strength of SPE is found in our ability to thoroughly research a producing area and apply the most up-to-date analytical techniques to arrive at the best possible solutions. The ultimate goal of SPE always remains the same -- to maximize production and reserve bookings for the client.

Depending on project size and client needs, SPE maintains a close network of highly skilled technical associates to provide “cradle to grave” services. This includes exploration and production geology, geophysics, facility and operations expertise. For investors, SPE can also provide a portfolio of opportunities running the gamut from prospective to proven reserves.
